Eva Longoria still can’t say thank you to France.
CNN will air the second cycle of her “Eva Longoria: In Search of France,” the latest in a series of culinary-focused travel shows that have also taken actress, producer and director Eva Longoria to Spain and Mexico. The next season of the show will begin in 2027.
“CNN has been a great partner for many years, and I’m thrilled to be back together in one of my favorite places in the world,” Longoria said in a statement. “One of the things I love most about ‘Searching For’ is that the journeys are thoroughly researched and immersive, revealing stories and practices that you wouldn’t otherwise experience.” She believes the first season of Exploring France gave viewers more flavor. “There’s still so much left to explore in France, with families preserving centuries-old traditions, ingredients shaping culinary standards, and chefs leading the next generation. We’re thrilled to take viewers on the second leg of this unforgettable adventure.”
In the second season, Longoria passes through regions such as Champagne and Lyon.
“As we looked at the response to Season 1, it became clear that France still has a lot to uncover,” Amy Entelis, CNN Worldwide’s executive vice president of talent, CNN Originals and creative development, said in a statement. “Eva has a rare ability to connect deeply with people and places, and returning for a second season allows us to take it even further, uncovering the unexpected stories that continue to make France an infinitely richer and more exciting cultural landscape.”
Over the years, CNN has built a vast library of travel shows, including Anthony Bourdain’s “Parts Unknown” and Stanley Tucci’s “Search for Italy.” The show will be available on CNN’s streaming app and associated digital venues.
“Search for France” is executive produced by Eva Longoria, Chris Abrego, Rachel Mendes and Shauna Minoprio of Hyphenate Media Group. Eve Kay from Dragonfly. CNN Original Series Amy Entelis and Lyle Gumm. Minoprio will also serve as showrunner. Banijay Rights will handle international distribution for the series.
