Christophe Pinard-Legry has been appointed CEO of Canal+ Europe, in addition to his current role as CEO of Canal+ France, responsible for business activities. He will also be a member of the Canal+ Management Board, chaired by Maxime Saada, along with Amandine Ferré, Anna Marsh, David Mignot and Gerard Bris-Villet.
Mr. Pinard-Lugris’ core mission in his new role will be to oversee the global media and entertainment company’s subsidiaries and coordinate all of the group’s activities across Europe.
Canal+ Europe operates in 10 European countries and 11 international territories and has more than 18 million subscribers. This includes Canal+ France, co-owned by Pinard-Legry and Gérald-Brice Viret, CEO of Canal+ France, responsible for programs and channels. Canal+ Outsiders, led by Aline Alix. Canal + Benelux and Central Europe, led by Yassin Bouzouba. The same goes for Kanal+Poland, led by Edita Sadowska.
Pinard-Legry joined Canal+ in 2016 as commercial director for France. He subsequently held several key positions within the Group, including Director of Marketing and Commerce France (2017-2018), Director of Marketing, Sales and Customer Service (2018-2021), Managing Director of Marketing, Sales and Customer Service of Canal+ France (2021-2022) and CEO of Canal+ France with responsibility for business activities (2022-2026).
Prior to joining Canal+, he was Director of Enterprise Markets at SFR Business and subsequently held senior positions at SFR including Marketing Director (2009-2012) and Commercial Director (2012-2015). He started his career at Henkel in 1997 in the marketing department and joined the E. Leclerc Group in 1999 as marketing category manager.
Pinard-Legry is an EM Lyon graduate.
