Chloe Fineman’s relationship with her “Saturday Night Live” castmates hasn’t always been smooth sailing.
A day after the comedian announced he was leaving NBC’s iconic late-night comedy show after seven seasons, a source exclusively told Page Six that while Feynman, 37, has close friendships with some of his co-stars, he doesn’t necessarily get along with them all.
“Khloé can rub people the wrong way sometimes,” the source said. “She got along very well with some cast members, but not everyone sympathized with her.”
According to a source, “Some cast members felt that they expected people to accommodate them and assumed that everyone would accommodate their schedules and preferences.”
However, a source said, “It wasn’t a big feud.”
Meanwhile, another source close to the show exclusively told Page Six that “there is no truth to this.”
Representatives for Feynman and NBC did not immediately respond to Page Six’s requests for comment.
The actress announced her departure on Instagram on Thursday with a snapshot of her favorite memories and sketches from the show.
“After seven amazing seasons on ‘SNL,’ I’ve decided it’s time to move on to the next chapter,” she captioned the post. “It’s a cliché to say, but working on SNL was the greatest privilege of my life. I still can’t believe I got to be a part of it.”
“I’m fortunate to be surrounded by some of the best people in the industry every day, and I’m always amazed to watch them work,” Feynman continued. “I’m not the first person to say this, but it’s really funny looking back now because the show makes you so focused on everything you work on.
Furthermore, she added: “When my sketch doesn’t get picked, I sob uncontrollably. I barge into the producer’s office and tell him I’ve made the biggest mistake of my life. I call everyone I know and complain. And years later, I look back and it was a sketch called ‘Thick Dog Lipstick.'”
Several “SNL” stars reacted to the news in the comments section.
“Congratulations Carlota ❤️🔥🫱🏼🫲🏼💃,” Marcelo Hernandez wrote. “SNL legend 😭,” Ben Marshall added.
Ego Nwodim, who left the show last year, commented, “Congratulations Chloe!!👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾.”
Last year, Nwodim and fellow alumnus Heidi Gardner opened up about the show’s “challenging” on-set move after leaving the show.
“We’re human beings, so we have egos and we want things for ourselves and we want to be successful. And there haven’t been many times when we’ve been able to succeed in the way we wanted at the exact same time,” Gardner explained on Nwodim’s Thank You Dad podcast in October 2025.
Nwodim agreed. “On ‘SNL,’ it’s easy to get caught up in yourself and what’s working and what’s not working, how you’re succeeding, what you wish you could do better, or how I want what this person has.”
As Page Six previously reported, a source exclusively said that Feynman felt leaving the sketch comedy series was the “best choice” as he would be competing against rising stars like Ashley Padilla and Veronica Slokowska.
Feynman’s decision to quit came just hours after he was offered a role in David E. Kelley’s new Netflix drama, Myron Bolitar, Page Six reported.
“It all happened in one day… it happened very quickly,” said an industry source. “Chloe went back and forth, but it was a smart decision. She knew she couldn’t say no. After seven seasons on the show and all the new faces, it was probably the best decision for her.”
