Caitlyn Jenner claimed she owed her late friend Sophia Hutchins about $500,000 and requested access to her Apple account.
The former Olympian filed for a court order, claiming her former manager’s account contained “work-related information” without which her business would be difficult, TMZ reported on Saturday.
Hutchins’ estate, led by his mother Amy, also requested access to Hutchins’ estate, alleging that he was in default on financial obligations due to a lack of important information.
The filing states that income taxes for Hutchins and her estate, as well as an inventory and appraisal of the former manager’s assets, cannot be paid without access to the Apple account.
Amy initially went to Apple for access, but was told she needed a court order.
A representative for Jenner, 76, could not be reached for comment.
Hutchins died on July 2, 2025, in a collision with an ATV near Jenner’s $3.5 million mansion in Malibu, California. She was 29 years old.
According to TMZ, the businesswoman was struck by a moving car, which fell 350 feet into a ravine.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to a creditor’s invoice obtained by Page Six earlier this month, Jenner claims she owes Hutchins $439,095.88 in cash advances, credit card bills, legal fees and shopping expenses leading up to her death.
Hutchins allegedly collected $273,000 in invoices from multiple companies including eBay, Shopify and 1stdibs, according to the filing.
She also had $16,000 in debit card debt and about $7,000 in cash advances.
Ms. Jenner also cited the more than $133,000 that Ms. Hutchins owed her attorney.
The retired athlete gave Hutchins access to his work credit card during his employment. However, Hutchins had to repay the personal funds transaction.
TMZ reported that Hutchins’ estate granted the retired athlete’s request.
