Warner Bros Discovery CEO David Zaslav recruited Brad Singer, formerly CFO of Zaslav at Discovery Communications, Chief Financial Officer of Warner Bros. Streaming and Studios Company, after WBD split it into two.
The singer will assume the role of Warner Bros. CFO once the company completes its planned separation, which is expected to occur by mid-2026. He reports to Zaslav, who is set to become president and CEO of Warner Bros. Post Split. WBD’s current CFO, Gunnar Wiedenfels, will become CEO of Discovery Global, an entity that houses WBD’s TV network and Discovery+.
Singer will begin in October 2025 in a strategic role in this new position until the formation of Warner Bros.’s official form as Warner Bros., overseeing global financial functions and strategies, including financial planning and analysis (FP&A), accounting, internal audit, finance, and investor relationships.

The singer recently served as partner and COO of activist investment firm ValueAct Capital. He joined in 2012 before resigning in 2021. During that time he also served on the boards of Rolls-Royce Holdings and Motorola Solutions. Singer was the CFO of Discovery Communications from 2008 to 2012 and played a key role in opening the company in 2008. Early in his career, he was a CFO and treasurer for American Tower, leading post-IPO growth, capital planning and restructuring, M&A and international expansion.
Singer is a current officer of Warby Parker, Sweet Green, who has served on the Audit and Compensation Committee and has chaired the Audit Committee since 2021. He holds an MBA with a bachelor’s degree from Harvard Business School and the University of Virginia.
