Aryna Sabalenka wowed everyone in attendance at the French Open on Tuesday with more than just her athleticism.
The 28-year-old tennis player took to the court in Paris wearing a range of Material Good jewelry, including two dazzling necklaces set with a total of 122.12 carats of garnets and 13.93 carats of diamonds.
Meanwhile, her matching earrings featured cushion-cut garnets accented with marquise-cut white diamonds.
The luxury suite also includes a third necklace totaling 81.64 carats of garnets and 8.58 carats of diamonds, which Sabalenka did not wear during her match against Jessica Buzas Maneiro.
Set entirely in 18K white gold, the suite was designed by the jeweler specifically for Sabalenka and was “heavily inspired by the famous Stade’s signature red clay coat,” according to a press release from the brand.
“The dynamic combination of stone shapes creates an overall sense of movement in every piece, paying homage to Material Good’s signature multi-shape design while reflecting the energy and movement of the on-court arena,” the statement continued.
Ahead of the game, Sabalenka shared an image on Carousel featuring her new sparkle, writing, “So excited to unveil my @materialgood jewelry set for @rolandgarros ❤️🔥Crazy is an understatement and I can’t wait to wear these beauties on court.”
“Three bold necklaces, one striking silhouette,” Material Goods wrote on Instagram, posting a behind-the-scenes video documenting the suite’s design.
These precious pieces may have been designed just for Sabalenka, but the brand is making them available for purchase as part of the Alina Edit, celebrating Material Goods’ first jewelery ambassador.
The company describes its partnership with the WTA world No. 1 as “rooted in fearless self-expression and craftsmanship.”
These semi-precious stones could be said to be Sabalenka’s lucky charms as she won the first round of the French Open.
