Anthony Michael Hall has found his “soulmate” in wife Lucia Oskelova and “couldn’t be happier” with his new life as a parent.
“Being a father and being a husband are definitely the biggest roles,” Hall, who became a father in 2023 at age 55, told People in an interview published Saturday.
“It’s a full-time job…but we love it. We just embrace it. Our son is very happy.”
The Breakfast Club star, 58, continued: “We sent him to kindergarten about six months ago. He’s doing great. He eats so much, I mean, he’s like a little giant. He looks like he’s about five years old. But we’re having a great time. It’s unbelievable.”
Mr. and Mrs. Hall gave birth to a son named Michael Anthony Hall II on June 1, 2023.
“The first month of parenting was pretty wild,” he told People magazine at the time. “This is the craziest time, but it’s also the best time.”
“Everything people say is pretty true. It makes it hard for me to sleep,” Hall continued, calling her then-1-month-old son “a big boy.”
“I couldn’t be happier[right now],” he exclaimed. “I’m 55 years old and I’m fully committed. I’m excited. My wife and I are both obsessed with parenthood and we’re taking it very seriously.”
In February of that year, when Oskelova was nearly seven months old, the couple announced she was pregnant.
Hall documented her partner’s pregnancy via Instagram, telling her followers in March of the same year how “proud” she was of the former model.
Hall’s relationship with the actress, 35, began in 2016. The “Sixteen Candles” star finally popped the question to his now wife three years later while on vacation in Italy.
The two walked down the aisle in 2020.
He and his wife renewed their vows in 2023 after their wedding plans were canceled due to the pandemic.
