Paul Anthony Kelly, who recently shot to fame for playing John F. Kennedy Jr. on FX’s “Love Story,” is starring in another Ryan Murphy series on the network, appearing in season 13 of “American Horror Story.”
Kelly himself announced the news at Disney’s annual presentation to advertisers at Upfront in New York City. In it, American Horror Story stars Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Angela Bassett, Gabourey Sidibe, Billie Lourd and Emma Roberts were flanked by hooded druids before Kelly appeared, saying, “Every nightmare needs fresh blood, and 13 is my lucky number.”
Full plot details for American Horror Story Season 13 have yet to be announced, with FX’s current logline reading: “Which iconic horror will once again haunt the hallowed 13th hole, and what new horrors await? Light a candle, draw a pentagram, and prepare for the ultimate surprise.”
However, it is known that several fan-favorite characters will be returning this season. Notably, Ryan Murphy Productions recently confirmed that Paulson will be reprising the role of Cordelia Goode, which she played in Season 3 of the anthology series, subtitled Coven. In addition to Kelly, Paulson, Peters, Bassett, Sidibe, Lard and Roberts, the cast also includes Ariana Grande, “AHS” regulars Kathy Bates and Leslie Grossman.
American Horror Story is created by Murphy and Brad Falchuk, who also executive produce alongside Ned Martel, Charlie Carver, Erik Kovtun, Nyssa Diederich, Scott Robertson, Tanase Popa, Crystal Roberson Dorsey, Jennifer Salt, and Tim Miner. TV number 20 is the studio.
