The Grammy Awards, which has been held on CBS for over 50 years, will be moved to ABC, Hulu, and Disney+ in the United States and will be held on February 7, 2027.

Nominations for the 69th Annual Grammy Awards will be announced on November 16th. The awards ceremony will be broadcast live from the Crypto.com Arena in downtown Los Angeles. There has been no official announcement regarding producers yet, but Ben Winston is expected to continue directing the event, which he has been leading since 2021.

“The Grammys are all about celebrating the music that moves the world, and this moment builds on that,” said Harvey Mason Jr., CEO of the Grammys. “As an organization, this is an exciting time for us. It’s a new home for the Grammys and a bold new chapter begins. We’re just getting started, and the best is yet to come.”

Disney and ABC are running a major promotional campaign to promote the Grammy Awards’ move to a new platform. Rita Ferro, Disney’s president of global advertising, spoke on Monday’s Daily Variety podcast about the event’s importance to the Mouse House’s 2027 television strategy.

“January brings us four of the biggest live events in entertainment and sports, including the College Football Championship, and for the first time ever, the Grammy Awards will be held across ABC and our portfolio of streaming platforms,” Ferro said. “A week later, we’re hosting the Super Bowl for the first time in over 20 years on ESPN and ABC. And in a few weeks, we’re hosting the Oscars. All four events that would normally have four different companies are all concentrated here. So this is a huge driver of engagement, excitement and fandom in a way that no one has really brought to market before.”

As always, the eligibility period for the Honor Award runs from August 31, 2025 to August 31, 2026. The first round of nomination voting will take place from October 12th to October 22nd. The final round of voting is scheduled from December 10, 2026 to January 2026. 7th, 2027.
