On Saturday, George and Amal Clooney celebrated the start of the Olympics with a special date night at Omega House in Milan with the luxury watch brand. For the international evening, Amal wore a strapless tulle dress with a ruched overlay and a miniskirt underneath. The overskirt splits in the middle into a fishtail silhouette, exposing her long legs and black high heels.
The lawyer wore her hair down in flowing waves and wore a glamorous makeup palette with smokey eyes and glossy lips. Next to her, George was wearing a navy suit over a white button-down and black dress shoes. As lights flashed, they walked arm in arm and smiled for the cameras.
The event also served as a commemoration of the opening of Omega House, which will be the ambassador’s home base during the tournament. George has been an ambassador for the Swiss watchmaker since 2007. That night, George and Amal were also joined by ambassadors Park Bo-gum, Allyson Felix, and Marisa Tomei. OMEGA has been the official timekeeper of the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games since 1932, and has a very long history in this incredibly prestigious sporting event.
On Sunday, the couple were seen returning home from Milan airport in casual clothes. Amal wore jeans with flared cuffs, a navy shirt, and a black blazer with gold buttons. She wore sunglasses and carried a small black handbag on a long strap. George wore a matching button-down, light blue pants, and sneakers over a navy windbreaker.
The Clooneys have two children, twins Ella and Alexander. Although they spend a considerable amount of time in Italy, particularly Lake Como, their primary residence is in Provence, France.
