A$AP Rocky brought back a special souvenir from Biarritz.
The 37-year-old rapper attended Chanel’s Cruise 2026/27 show on Tuesday, carrying a bubblegum pink Chanel maxi-flap bag and a pair of tiny ballet flats for her daughter Rocky Eilish dangling from the chain strap.
The tweed-trimmed bag is a personal gift from creative director Matthew Blasey himself, who presented his first cruise collection for the French fashion house in the seaside town.
“This is a gift from Mathieu. He’s a very thoughtful guy,” Rocky told WWD outside the show, noting that the designer similarly sent a pregnant model down the runway that night with a bag containing miniature flats.
As for his own shoes, he added, “I’m going to give these to my daughter.”
Rihanna’s youngest child, 7-month-old Rocky Irish Meyers, already has an impressive fashion resume. Rocky couldn’t stop smiling as he appeared on the cover of a recent W magazine with his mother Lee, and they both wore Dior haute couture.
“It was quite a deal. She’s so cute,” he told WWD. “It was amazing. I’m still processing it. It was so cute. Too cute, you know what I mean? I was just a happy dad.”
Earlier this month, she made her first public appearance wearing head-to-toe Dior, but perhaps she has a future as a Chanel muse.
Rocky posed alongside front row guests Michaela Coel, Tilda Swinton and Nicole Kidman at the show in the seaside town where Gabrielle “Coco” Chanel opened her first haute couture house in 1915.
Blazey chose a historically significant location for her cruise debut, saying the house was “Biarritz where Chanel’s style took shape.”
The buzzy designer also sent down the runway a full-skirted suit in the same bubblegum pink fabric as Rocky’s bag, complete with quilted burgundy leather detailing under the collar and cuffs, and could probably find its way into Rihanna’s closet.
