Tennis scandal!
President Trump’s appearance at the US Men’s Singles Final Sunday afternoon caused chaos among tennis fans, including many celebrities.
“This is an absolute S-T show,” one source told Page Six only. “Cars can’t get into the parking lot, people walk miles, and even celebrities have to wait like normal.”
Sources added that security “stops entries in so many ways.”
Katherine Zeta Jones, Michael Douglas and Ben Stiller found Debra ruined, saying, “I’m waiting in line like everyone else.”
Lindsay Lohan also found a tray in the car park.
Stiller eventually sat down with other celebrities, including Mindy Karin, Bruce Springsteen, BJ Novak and Sting, to watch Giannik Sinner face Carlos Alcaraz.
Earlier this week, Page 6 exclusively reported that the president will be taking part in the tennis final for the first time since Queens-born Pol was booed at Arthur Ashe Stadium in 2015.
At the time, he attended the US Open along with his wife Melania Trump and was booed by fans when he came in, watching Serena Williams play her sister Venus Williams.
This time, the president is joined by several members of his administration, including US Attorney General Pam Bondy, White House Prime Minister Susie Wills and Treasury Secretary Scott Bescent.
He was also home to his step-son, Jared Kushner and his granddaughter, Arabella.
Before his appearance, the American Tennis Association had advised broadcasters not to air any negative reactions they might receive from the crowd.
“We ask all broadcasters to refrain from introducing confusion or reactions in response to the President’s attendance, including compensation for ENG (electronic news collection),,” USTA advised.
A social media post reveals that the president was booed loudly when he salutes during the national anthem.
