When patient Jacqueline Page said he was “tired” under his jealousy, Charles pointed out that this was “awful” he had “already discovered.”
The 76-year-old said, “Bit doesn’t work very well past 70.”
Charles confirmed that he was “not too bad” while chatting with Matthew Cinda about his patient’s prostate cancer.
“Half of the problem is detecting it… in time,” he added. “The great thing is, I think it’s getting better and better for them to deal with these things. The problem is, there’s always hope.”
The comment marked his first comment since in July that he told cancer survivors “it’s gotten so much better now.”
The royal family was published in February 2024 with his diagnosis after undergoing treatment with a benign, expanded prostate.
“The subsequent diagnostic tests identified a form of cancer,” Buckingham Palace revealed at the time, without specifying the specific type of cancer that Charles suffered.
At the time, the king of “thank you” felt “completely positive” about his journey.
In March this year, Charles was hospitalized from his treatment for “temporary side effects” and took a step back from his royal duties.
He was back to work by April.
Charles’ stepdaughter Kate Middleton similarly made headlines to pause her outings while battling cancer last year.
The 43-year-old Princess of Wales has been making frequent public appearances since completing her chemotherapy in September 2024 and marking a milestone.
More recently, Prince William’s wife debuted her stunning blonde hair transformation while visiting the Museum of Natural History in London.
In addition to Charles and Middleton, Prince Andrew’s ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, is battling skin cancer.
The 65-year-old breast cancer survivor shared the diagnosis in January 2024, six months after undergoing a double mastectomy.
Ferguson called out about Middleton’s “filled with praise.” Middleton vomits that he is Prince George (12)’s three-time mother, Princess Louis, 10, and Prince, 7.
