Travis Kelse mocked Patrick Mahomes at a press conference in Brazil on Thursday.
After the quarterback told reporters, “The Kansas City Chief “took to play football again” after training “all summer,” the camera turned his attention to Kelse when asked about his arrival in Sao Paulo.
“Yeah, it was crazy, it was so much fun seeing all the fans out there…” He responded with a spot-on impression of Mahomes’ voice, sending the quarterback to laughter.
After Kelce shamelessly roasted his teammates, he told reporters, “He told everyone he would tell them he didn’t know where Brazil was.”
The “New Heights” co-host was referring to a recent press conference where Mahomes called out Kelse ahead of the season opener game with the Los Angeles Chargers.
“There were some people who didn’t understand how far the trip went, even though he was just there like last year. So I was explaining to him how the gloves worked,” Mahomes said Monday.
The “New Heights” podcast posted a clip of the impression of the tight end on X along with the caption “The Perfect Form of Payback.” Many fans agree in the comments section.
“He had it,” one user wrote, while another said, “LOL Paybacks is AB.
Others struck the duo’s playful dynamics and focused on how they act like brothers.
“I love these two. That’s how you say they’re a real family,” one person said.
Kelse, 35, and Mahomes, 29, have become close friends since becoming teammates in 2017.
Their strong bonds are on display in the 2025 Miami Grand Prix and several charity glasses.
Kelse’s fiance, Taylor Swift, has also formed a close friendship with Patrick’s wife, Brittany Mahomes.
After seeing Foursome go on multiple double dates, Mahomes is predicted to be part of a bridal party at the upcoming wedding of the pop star and athlete.
Brittany and Patrick, 29, were some of the first to respond to their engagement, taking them to social media and celebrating the happy couple on the day they announced their engagement.
Brittany re-shared the Power Couple post on her Instagram story, writing, “Two of the most authentic people met and fell in love. They were so happy with these two screams.”
Patrick also worked on his Instagram story and wrote Three Heart Emojis under a repost of Swift and Kelce engagement photos.
Recently, Swift joined Brittany in Nashville, the latter celebrating her 30th birthday.
