Jacob Elordi appeared to have had a tense exchange with officials at the Venice Film Festival at the world premiere of his upcoming film, Frankenstein.
Onlookers who witnessed the intense moment on Saturday shared footage of the incident on Tiktok Sunday.
In the clip, Erorudi was able to see the “Saltburn” star talking to a man called “Bodyguard” by the fans before Erorudi began interacting with the fans.
“I’m going to take some photos here,” the 28-year-old actor told the festival’s staff.
After taking several photos with participants, Erorudi returned to the officials and said, “Don’t tell me what to do.”
Elordi representatives did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
Despite the troublesome exchange on the red carpet, the user who posted the video said the actor was “very nice” and “taken a photo with everyone who could.” They added, “He’s so sexy and lovely.”
Erorudi’s appearance marked his first public event since the recent split from Olivia Jade Giannuli.
In the photo obtained on page 6, the BAFTA-nominated actor rocked a traditional black suit with a bowtie at the iconic event.
The “Euphoria” actor completed a sharp look that fits black shoes, just like he posed for the photographer.
Following Guillermo Del Toro’s screening for “Frankenstein,” people reported that the actor “moved to tears” when he received a standing ovation that lasted 13 minutes, according to a report published by Variety.
The video shared by X’s Variety shows Erorudi embrace writer-director Del Toro and his co-star Mia Goss before bowing his head after seeing the audience.
The standing ovation served as “the longest festival ever.”
