Seleuthing Swifties is confident that Travis Kelce proposed to Taylor Swift shortly after the pop star appeared on his “New Heights” podcast earlier this month.
The singer-guest of “Love Story” was co-hosted on the podcast with the NFL star co-hosted with his brother Jason Kels, on a record-breaking two-hour episode on August 13th.
This Tuesday – Nearly two weeks after Swift unveiled her upcoming 12th studio album, “The Life of a Showgirl,” on a podcast, the couple confirmed their engagement on Instagram.
“Your English teacher and your gym teacher are married,” they captioned the co-post. Beautiful suggestion images and a sparkling diamond ring from an old mine in Swift set in a gold bezel (co-designed by Travis and Artifex Fine Jewelry’s Kindred Lubeck).
Shortly afterwards, Page 6 confirmed exclusively that Travis had popped the question “a few weeks ago” and the duo kept it a secret.
When it comes to the theory of proposals that unfold after the podcast’s episode premiere, the timeline certainly sums up.
Their engagement location also coincides with fan speculation as Travis descended to one knee in his own backyard at Leewood, Kansas Estate. This is an important detail as Travis usually records podcasts from his Kansas home and Jason is remote from his Philadelphia mansion.
Swift’s physical appearance tells us some indications that he sat in the episode before becoming Travis’s fiancé.
For one, Swift’s nude manicure on the podcast appeared to be the same set of nails that were shaking when she was given her huge rock.
“Cardigan” artist, 35, looked relaxed in her hair where she was wearing headphones at the Wave Sports + Entertainment Show.
“You can see where the headphones indented her hair,” one person showed a photo in line with Swift on a podcast, claiming on the X-Post after she said yes.
Eagle Eyed Spy pointed out that Swift was wearing the same diamond-studded Cartier Santos De Moiselle watch when Travis asked for her hand in marriage during the episode.
“Okay, I knew the watch was familiar, but I didn’t think she was wearing it again, or this was the same day,” the X user said.

Other fans have confirmed that the 35-year-old Travis uses the podcast as the perfect cover to make her look distracted and completely appealing for subsequent engagement photo shoots as the engagement flowers are set up.
“Also, he had to be a distraction so they were able to set it up all,” X user said.
“He could have been surprised because, like 10,000%, he had to literally plan this on the day her first podcast and album’s release,” internet users agreed.
“But he is also very considerate as he does that on the same day, so she becomes a complete professional charm for the engagement photo,” exclaimed another.
