Meghan Markle’s second season with Love in Netflix series Meghan premiered today, with the Duchess of Sussex revealing a little more about her relationship with Prince Harry.
During Queer Eye’s conversation with Tan France in the third episode, Meghan said Harry was the first to say, “I love you.” Looking back at the third date, on a camping trip in Botswana, Meghan said, “When we were in a small tent together, “What is it outside the tent?” “It’s an elephant.” “Are we safe?” “Yeah, you’re safe.” ‘Okay. ‘”
Meghan also revisited Harry’s 2017 proposal night and admitted that his culinary attempts didn’t go as planned. “I still had a lot of challenges with conversions to Celsius and Fahrenheit,” she explained. “I made some scary chicken that night. So the point is, you can make some terrible chicken and someone is still trying to appreciate the idea.”
She recently shared another personal memory with Harry on Instagram. Last month, Meghan celebrated her and Harry’s second date anniversary on July 4th. The carousel contained a plate of red, white and blue cupcakes, including her and Harry’s selfies.
