Bruce Willis’ wife Emma Heming made a “strict decision” to move the actor to another home amid the dementia battle.
“Bruce would want that from our daughters,” Heming explained Mabel and 11-year-old Evelyn (11) in Tuesday’s “Emma and Bruce Willis: An Unexpected Journey – Diane Sawyer Special.”
The 49-year-old added, “He would want them to be in a home that suits their needs, not his needs.”
She revealed that their little ones are watching 70-year-old Willis in his second home.
Heming brings Mabel and Evelyn for a breakfast and dinner visit.

Hemming promotes her upcoming memoir, “Unexpected Journey: Finding a Path of Strength, Hope, and Caregiving,” and is due to be released on September 9th.
In the book, she documents Willis’ health struggle. This was revealed in 2022 when the Golden Globe winner retired from acting due to aphasia diagnosis.
This condition, according to Mayo Clinic, affects speech and the way individuals write and understand spoken and written language.
The following year, Willis was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia. This is a progressive neurological disorder characterized by language problems, behavioral changes and mobility problems.
Heming told viewers Tuesday that Willis’s loved ones now have “different ways” to communicate with him as his language skills “go.”
In a rare update, “Bruce is still very mobile. Bruce is in a really healthy state overall. The only thing he’s failing is his brain.”
Hemming became visibly emotional during her conversation with Sawyer, admitted that it was “difficult” to get a glimpse of her husband.
She said, “He has a heartfelt laugh, and you know, you may see a glimpse of his eyes, or a smirk, and you know, I will just be carried.”
The actress began dating Willis in 2007, and the duo got married in 2009, renewing their vows 10 years later.
