It has been announced that Zosia Mamet will appear in Season 5 of HBO’s “Industry”.
As previously announced, season 5 will be the last for the British financial drama. Mamet will play Carmen Dame, who is described as a “fitness influencer turned wellness technology founder and CEO.”
The cast of the series also includes Maihara, Marisa Abela, Kit Harington, Ken Leung, Max Minghella, Miriam Petsce, Sagar Radia, Toheeb Jimoh, Charlie Heaton, Amy James Kelly, Roger Berkeley, Andrew Havill, Kiernan Shipka, Kal Penn, Jack Farthing, Stephen Campbell Moore, Claire Forlani, and Edward Holcroft.
The final season will consist of eight episodes and is expected to begin production in the UK in the first week of August.
Mamet is no stranger to HBO, having starred as Shoshanna Shapiro on the hit HBO series “Girls.” She also starred in the critically acclaimed HBO Max series The Flight Attendant for two seasons alongside Kaley Cuoco. Her other television credits include “United States of Tara,” “Parenthood,” “Mad Men” and “Tales of the City.” In film, she has appeared in films such as “Under the Silver Lake,” “Alone Together,” and “Madame Web.”

Industry is created, written and executive produced by Mickey Down and Conrad Kaye. The series is an HBO/BBC Bad Wolf production, with Jane Tranter, Kate Crowther and Ryan Rasmussen serving as executive producers for Bad Wolf. Kathleen McCaffrey: Little Gems. and the BBC’s Rebecca Ferguson. Season 4 was directed by Down & Kaye, Michelle Saville and Luke Snellin. Writers include Down, Kaye, and Joseph Charlton.
