Zendaya and Tom Holland finished their press tour for Odyssey and resumed promoting Spider-Man: Brand New Day, visiting Mexico City for the film’s premiere. On the red carpet, the newlyweds posed together and apart. And Zendaya was asked an interesting question while taking a photo of herself.
“Zendaya, will you marry me?” one fan asked. She laughed and playfully replied: “It’s too late!” Watch the moment below.
Holland also mentioned their marriage while doing press for The Odyssey. In an interview on the Dish podcast, he was asked who he would like to take with him on a trip to Greece.
“I think my wife will probably be a pretty good person,” he said. “It would be kind of weird if I said, ‘Sorry, baby, I’m actually going to take Matt[Odyssey’ co-star Damon]with me.”
At the beginning of the Odyssey press run, Holland was asked if Zendaya’s Athena was romantically in love with Damon’s Odysseus. “No, because she’s married to me,” he joked.
In June, Holland revealed in an interview with British Vogue that he had secretly married Zendaya. He declined to say when the wedding took place, but confirmed that his family was in attendance. “That’s all you can do,” he finished.
“Our business can create very stressful situations and it’s really great to lay the foundation for a relationship that will stand the test of time. We can support each other in a way that only we can because we are the only ones who truly understand what it’s like to live this life. And I think that’s such a luxury, because I don’t understand how you can do that with other people. So, for me, I found my person, and I’ve never felt so supported and safe when I’m with her. ”
