Brooke Shields celebrated her 61st birthday on May 31st, but she celebrated late with her daughters and close friends on Tuesday night.
Public relations officer Anna Rothschild and IE Group’s Jeff Kraus invited SEALs and eight crew members to dinner at the Zoe Nomad, where SEALs was reminded of a photo from his career plastered on a birthday cake.
Mr. Shields arrived at the restaurant around 7 p.m. with his friend Beth Stern, a college friend and his daughters Greer and Rowan Henchy.
Their feast included caviar, citrus tartare, sushi, grilled branzino, crispy zucchini chips, and more.
The restaurant surprised the former Calvin Klein model by decorating the cake with a Harper’s Bazaar cover, a scene from “The Blue Lagoon,” a shot with Andy Warhol, and a family photo of her daughters taken by husband Chris Henchy.
“She was genuinely surprised and touched by the tribute. She remembered each photo and shared the story behind it,” a source told Page Six.
“She looked stunning and elegant as always. You could see she was glowing when looking at the photos,” they added.
Shields recently said that the secret to maintaining her supermodel-like appearance into her 70s is to remain natural and think clearly. A few days before she turned 61, Shields told People magazine that beauty meant more to her than just having a pretty face.
“For me, beauty used to mean being smart and strong, but I accept that things change. I fully understand that beauty is not just about not having wrinkles,” she said.
Shields said she has been working out and peeling the skin on her face, but has not yet decided to undergo surgery.
“It’s fascinating but also scary!” she added.
On her birthday, she continued the celebration with her daughters at Ten11, a nightclub located downstairs from the restaurant, where they drank cocktails and danced until midnight.
