Jason Sudeikis feels “overwhelmed” by the dating scene six years after his split from Olivia Wilde.
“I’m not at a point in my life where it feels fun or fulfilling to date too many people at once,” the “Ted Lasso” star, 50, said on Tuesday’s episode of the “Friends Keep Secrets” podcast, confirming that he’s single.
“It feels daunting and overwhelming,” he added.
The comedian also said that due to his family life, he is in no rush to get into a relationship.
“Whoever I’m dating…as the showbiz saying goes, they’re never going to be number one on the call sheet,” Sudeikis said. “The kids do.”
“Probably more so than me,” he continued. “Then, as you get older, sometimes you think, ‘Oh, I have to make sure my cup is full so everyone else’s is full.’
The Emmy winner also said he would be open to having more children, especially if he “fell in love” again.
Sudeikis is already the father of two children, Otis, 12, and Daisy, 9, both of whom are the same as Wilde.
Reports that the actors had broken up first surfaced in November 2020, effectively ending their engagement of more than seven years.
Two months later, Wilde was seen dating Harry Styles, who is 10 years her junior. The couple broke up in 2022.
She was recently linked to Ellie Goulding’s ex-husband, Casper Jopling.
In 2021, Sudeikis opened up to GQ about his split from Wilde, admitting that he was confused as to why things didn’t work out.
He told the magazine, “In a year I’ll understand the why better, and in two years I’ll be even better, and in five years I’ll be even better. And it’ll be a chapter, a paragraph, a line, a word, a doodle from the book of my life.”
