Once Upon a Time… Brad Pitt and Ine de Ramon had a date night in Hollywood.
Just one day after the actor’s son Maddox (with ex-wife Angelina Jolie) applied to have his father’s last name legally abolished, the couple appeared in court Friday night with bright smiles on their faces.
Pitt wore a light blue button-down shirt, purple slacks, matching blue socks, purple shoes and sunglasses.
De Ramon opted for brown pants and a white, low-cut, long-sleeved shirt. The jewelry designer accessorized the look with tan shoes and a matching bag.
One photo showed the pair walking down the street holding hands, while a second photo showed Pitt, 62, and de Ramon, 33, enjoying a Red Hot Chili Peppers concert in Paris.
On Thursday, Maddox, 24, requested that “Pitt” be removed from her last name, listing her reasons as “personal” in court documents obtained by Page Six.
If the change is accepted, his name will no longer be Maddox Chivan Jolie-Pitt.
He will be called Maddox Chivan Jolie.
The Daily Mail was the first to report the news.
Maddox unofficially went by the name Maddox Jolie when he worked as an assistant director on his mother’s film Couture in February.
Two years ago, he was credited as Maddox Jolie-Pitt while serving as executive producer on Maria.
But Maddox isn’t the first of Pitt and Jolie’s children to ditch their father’s last name.
After turning 18 in 2024, Shiloh, now 20, requested a release from Pitt, and his request was granted just three months later.
At the time, a source told Us Weekly that Pitt was “devastated” by the move.
“It was a symbol of a deeper alienation that had been brewing for years,” they argued.
Another source claimed that Pitt “was finding it very difficult to accept” the name change.
However, a source revealed that the “Super Express” star is “not ready to give up” on his children, including Pax, 22, Zahara, 21, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 17.
In 2025, another source told the magazine that Pitt sees his youngest children “regularly,” but his relationship with his remaining offspring is “strained.”
Pitt and Jolie began dating in 2005 and married in 2014. By 2016, they had broken up and by 2019, he was officially single.
Their volatile divorce case was settled in December 2024.
At the time, Pitt clarified to GQ that it wasn’t “that big of a deal” and that it was “just something that’s coming together.”
In 2022, the “Mr. & Mrs. Smith” star moved on with de Ramon, with a source telling Page Six that their relationship was very “serious.”
The source added that Pitt “said he would never get married again…I’m not saying never, but I would be surprised if he did.”
