Popular French-Moroccan director Nabil Ayush has assembled an international cast, led by Noomi Rapace (The Mother, Prometheus) and Mariam Touzani (Razia), for his next film Run, With No Tears, a psychological thriller shot in French and English.
The project, which will begin shooting in September, was joined by international sales banner Films Boutique ahead of the Cannes market.
This story is about two women who travel to Morocco to adopt another woman’s baby. The screenplay was co-written by Tusani (whose last directorial effort, Via Malaga, sold worldwide and won the Audience Award in Venice) and Ayush.

Run, With No Tears is produced by France’s Les Films du Nouveau Monde, Morocco’s Ali n’ Productions, Sweden’s Rainy Days, Belgium’s Velvet Films and Norway’s Staer.
“Run, With no Tears” was produced by Ayush, Morocco’s Amin Bengelon, and France’s Jean-Remi Ducourtiou. It was co-produced by Stella Hahnström and Piodor Gustafsson from Sweden, Sebastian Schelenz from Belgium, and Elisa Fernanda Pillil from Norway.
The project is supported by CCM (Centre Cinématographique Marocain), the Belgian Tax Shelter, the Swedish Film Institute and is co-produced by Film i Väst (Sweden). Distribution rights will be handled by France’s Le Pacte, Belgium’s Cinéart, and Scandinavia’s TriArt.
