Sandra Lee is single and ready to date.
“You never know if the right person will come along,” she exclusively told Page Six at BCRF’s Hot Pink Party on Tuesday when asked if she was open to dating.
“It’s about energy and having fun and enjoying life. So I’m very comfortable with monogamy.”
In fact, she was so serious about monogamy that she told us, “Hey, I’ve had sex with two men in 20 years!”
The 59-year-old Semi-Homemade star, who hasn’t been single since she was 14, recently announced her divorce from Ben Youssef, 47.
The two started dating in 2021 after meeting at a restaurant in Santa Monica, California, and got engaged a few months later.
Lee announced their breakup in an emotional post on Instagram last month, saying he had “nothing but respect” for Youssef. Her previous boyfriend was former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, with whom she dated from 2005 to 2019.
The “Made From Scratch” author admitted to Page Six that she doesn’t use dating apps, prompting us to ask her what she’s looking for in getting the word out.
“Oh, obviously I like tall, dark and handsome,” she shared. “Brown eyes, chocolate frosted eyes, younger than me. I like a lot of energy!”
When asked how young he was, Lee joked, “What? Half your age plus seven years?”
(If you are a single, handsome, brown-eyed man around 37 years old, please contact Mr. Lee directly.)
On a more serious note, the BCRF Annual Gala is a cause close to Lee’s heart.
In May 2015, she announced that she had been diagnosed with early-stage breast cancer and had undergone a double mastectomy.
It’s been 10 years since Lee was cancer-free, and only in the past year has he felt relieved.
“I went to my final appointment with the doctor,” she recalled. “She said, ‘You’re good for 10 years, you’re good to go, you can go back on hormones!'”
Also in attendance at the event was William P. Lauder, Chairman of the Board of Estée Lauder Companies and Co-Chairman of BCRF, a company co-founded by his mother Evelyn, who died of breast cancer in 2011.
“The legacy she left us is one that we carry on with great honor,” said the Estée Lauder businessman. “She was a force to be reckoned with, and the movement she helped launch gained momentum. It’s not only important to us as an Estée Lauder company, it’s important to women around the world.”
William pointed out that more than 30 years ago, a woman diagnosed with stage 1 breast cancer had a 75 percent chance of surviving five years or more, but now that chance is more than 90 percent.
“And it’s all thanks to the great work of our researchers,” he explained.
The starry night, hosted by Elizabeth Hurley, featured a performance by Elton John and raised more than $9 million, which will be donated to a global group of 260 scientists researching breast cancer.
