Victoria Beckham’s daughter Harper, 14, is her very own mini-me, but she won’t be slipping into Posh Spice’s closet anytime soon.
At the Time100 Summit in New York City last week, Victoria spoke about the style lessons she’s passing on to her daughter.
“Will she inherit your Spice Girls look?” asked Lucy Feldman, executive editor of Time, who led the talk.
“She loves fashion, she loves beauty, and she would love to have a Spice Girls costume…” she continued.
She hinted that her archives haven’t been released to Harper yet, but there’s one look in particular that Victoria mentioned as off-limits to teenagers.
“Not a PVC catsuit yet,” Victoria joked to the audience, referencing one of Posh Spice’s most iconic looks from her music video for “Say You’ll Be There.”
“She’s 14, right? So we’re going to wait for that.”
“She’s been sitting on my lap during all product development meetings since she was a baby, so she’s just as obsessed with the product as I am,” Victoria said.
Victoria launched her eponymous fashion label in 2008, three years before Harper was born.
Harper has always sat in the front row of fashion shows since she was a baby, alongside her father David and siblings Brooklyn, Cruz, and Romeo, usually next to Anna Wintour herself.
Although fans have yet to see the teenager wearing anything from Victoria’s own wardrobe, she is often dressed up by her stylish mother.
Part-wearing a silk slip dress, the teenager has amassed a major archive of Victoria Beckham originals all on her own.
