Meghan offered some post-wedding advice to brides-to-be. She focused on the importance of marriage after a big event. The Duchess of Sussex appears to have recorded a message from Australia, where she and her husband Prince Harry are visiting.
According to People magazine, on April 23, a fan shared a message from Meghan on Instagram in which she focused on the wedding rather than the wedding plans. The advice was given to brides just before their big day and appears to have been filmed during a recent trip to Australia. The Duchess of Sussex was in the country last week with her husband Prince Harry.
In the video, Meghan tells the soon-to-be-married woman: “Ellie, I’m here with your dad. I just wanted to say congratulations on your marriage. Enjoy your wedding, but more than that, the marriage itself. Let’s have a wonderful, beautiful marriage and a lifetime of love. Let’s send love all over the world. Your father is an amazing man.”
She then blew a kiss to the camera.
Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry married in 2018 and will celebrate their wedding anniversary on May 19th. The royal ceremony was held at St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle and was attended by the late Queen Elizabeth, as well as Prince Harry’s father King Charles and younger brother Prince William. Since then, they have had two children, Archie and Lilibet.
In April 2025, Meghan appeared on the Jamie Khan Lima Show and was asked if she believed she would be “married forever” to Prince Harry.
Meghan answered simply, “Yes,” before adding, “In case you haven’t noticed, he’s also a fox. My husband is very, very handsome. But he has an even more beautiful heart.”
“Sometimes you can’t take for granted that you have a partner or spouse behind you,” Meghan continued. “You know, I mean, H, he loves me so much. And look at what we’ve built. We’ve built a wonderful life and have two healthy, beautiful children (Archie and Lilibet). And you know, I always say that when we get to the last final level of Super Mario Bros. I think of it like the end. And what is the goal of Super Mario? They’re like slaying dragons and saving princesses. That’s what I’m like. “My husband…he’s going to do everything he can to make sure our family is safe and protected, and we have time for a date night. ”
