Cindy Crawford soaked up the sun on a romantic getaway to Mexico with her longtime husband Rande Gerber over the weekend.
The ’90s icon showed off her toned physique in a deep purple bikini as she took a dip in the ocean, letting her long hair down and showing off her fresh face without makeup.
Gerber was wearing light blue and white tropical pattern swimming trunks and a navy blue baseball cap.
The couple were seen walking into the water together, with Gerber flexing her abs and chatting animatedly with Crawford.
After swimming, the two relaxed on beach chairs.
Crawford, 60, and Gerber, 63, have been married for almost 28 years and are used to spending quality time together in exotic locations.
The two married in May 1998 on Paradise Island in the Bahamas.
The following year, the couple welcomed son Presley (26) and daughter Kaia (24).
Crawford and Gerber were friends for years before becoming romantically involved.
“We met at my agent’s wedding,” she recalled in a 2015 interview with Harper’s Bazaar. “I was still with Richard (Gere) when I met him, but he didn’t want to go to the wedding with me.”
Crawford added that Gerber was also seeing someone at the time, but “had no intention of meeting anyone.”
“That’s the best time to meet someone, because that’s when you can be your true self,” the former music video vixen continued. “We became friends and after I broke up with Richard, we started dating.”
Crawford was previously married to Gere, 76, from 1991 to 1995.
During her conversation with the media, the runway star also gushed about motherhood.
“Having a child changes your life in every way. There are changes that you would never have thought possible before having children,” she elaborated. “They taught me my strength.”
In 2023, the Casamigos co-founder told People that he “absolutely” believes the proudest moments of his life were “getting married and having kids.”
Now, the two have quickly settled into an empty nest lifestyle.
“We can go for a walk on the beach,” Crawford explained in 2017. “It reminds me of the first time we were together. I like how simple it is. And I’m not worried about the kids because they’re doing well. They’re doing their own thing.”
Both of Crawford’s children have followed in her fashionable footsteps as models, while Kaia has taken it even further and carved out a career as an actress in Hollywood.
Kaia has appeared in films such as Babylon, The Bottoms, Saturday Night, and Mother Mary, while also starring in shows such as American Horror Story, Palm Royale, and Overcompensation.
Presley has primarily focused on runway and editorial work as a model.
