Jeannie’s Dream star Barbara Eden has paid tribute to her “kind” former co-star Patrick Muldoon with a touching message following his shocking death on Sunday.
“I am deeply saddened to learn of the sudden passing of Patrick Muldoon, my co-star in 2019’s ‘The Adventures of Santa and Me,'” Eden, 94, posted on Instagram on Monday.
In the post, she shared a photo of Muldoon and co-stars Denise Richards and Eric Devine.
She continued, “Patrick was a very personable and kind person.”
“I really enjoyed the time we spent between takes, the time we spent making the movie, and the time we just enjoyed each other’s company. He made the experience even more enjoyable. The death of a loved one is never easy, but it’s especially difficult when it’s unexpected and sudden, as I think it was with Patrick.”
In closing, the actress said, “My thoughts and condolences go out to his family and friends.”
Eden, along with Muldoon’s former Days of Our Lives co-star Lisa Rinna, have publicly shared their condolences for the late star following the sad news.
The news of his death reportedly came as a huge shock to his ex-girlfriend Denise Richards, with a source telling the Daily Mail on Monday that the Wild Things actress was “devastated” and “couldn’t stop crying”.
Muldoon died Sunday at the age of 57 from a sudden heart attack.
According to TMZ, his sister Shanna Muldoon Zappa claimed that Patrick spent Sunday morning with his partner Miriam Rothbart at his home in Beverly Hills and went to take a shower.
It was taking too long, so Rothbart decided to check on him. She then found him unconscious on the bathroom floor.
When paramedics arrived, Muldoon was pronounced dead at the scene.
