Meghan is monetizing her wardrobe.
The Duchess of Sussex has leveraged her fashion appeal to join AI fashion discovery platform OneOff as an investor and featured participant. And all the outfits she wore during her Australian tour with Prince Harry are now available for purchase by fans.
“[Markle]cares about fashion and was willing to invest not only to expand her own portfolio, but also to help elevate the fashion designers who are her fans,” the company shared in a press release announcing the partnership.
Emma Roberts, Suki Waterhouse, Kate Hudson and Shay Mitchell are other celebrities who have partnered with OneOff.
During her tour Down Under, Markle has worn a variety of pieces, from a “Mommy” T-shirt in support of the Alliance of Moms, an organization that supports pregnant and parenting youth in L.A.’s foster care system, to styles from Australian brands such as Matteau, St. Agni, Camila, and Marc & Posse.
Markle may no longer be a working royal, but given her large platform, she has said in the past that she is careful to support local, independent fashion brands whenever possible.
“In an era of global attention and attention paid to every little detail of what I’m wearing, I support designers with whom I have really deep friendships and small, up-and-coming brands that don’t get the attention they deserve,” Duchess Kate told The New York Times in 2024.
“That’s one of the most powerful things I can do, and that’s just to wear earrings and things like that.”
