The premiere date for Season 6 of “The Chosen” has been decided on Amazon Prime Video.
The new season of the epic Bible series will premiere on November 15th with the first three episodes, then weekly until December 6th. The season finale is then scheduled for a standalone theatrical release in spring 2027.
According to the official synopsis, “The time has come. Before the sun sets, Jesus of Nazareth will die. Dallas Jenkins, chairman and chief creative officer of 5&2 Studios and creator and executive producer of “The Chosen,” said the creative team approached this story with both television and theatrical ambitions in mind. “We realized this was valuable not only as a season of television, but also as an independent feature-length theatrical event,” he said.
