Hailee Steinfeld has given birth to her first child with husband Josh Allen.
The singer announced the happy news on Thursday in a Substack post titled “Special Delivery…”
“We’re having a baby girl!! We are incredibly grateful and blessed and are enjoying these early moments. Thank you so much for all the love and blessings,” she said, concluding with “Love, Hailey and Josh.”
The couple announced that they are expecting a baby in a snowy December 2025 in an Instagram video.
The actress, who captioned the sweet footage with a heart emoji, lifted up her “mother” sweater to reveal her bump in a photo she uploaded to social media.
The 29-year-old NFL quarterback kissed his wife’s bare stomach in the video.
The announcement comes a month after Steinfeld, also 29, sparked pregnancy rumors when she hid her stomach in a structured Stephane Laurent dress at the 2025 Governors Awards.
She next showed off her bump when she walked the red carpet at the Golden Globe Awards 2026 in January.
At the time, the Oscar nominee posed in a beaded pink Prada dress and gushed about her “night out with[her]latest plus-one” via Instagram.
The “Sinners” star hinted at the name she and Allen had chosen for their little one in the Beau Society newsletter that same month.
The “Starving” singer posted a photo of a onesie that read “Baby Beau.”
Steinfeld and Allen have been dating since 2023, and the athlete got down on one knee in November of the following year.
In May 2025, the two walked down the aisle in Montecito, California.
In November of that year, Steinfeld told Bustle that she and her husband were “absolutely” considering having children.
Elsewhere in the interview, she praised Allen, saying, “I literally thank God every day that I found the right person for me. It’s the best thing in the world. Life has meaning. Everything has meaning. Being with him, I’ve been through so much and I feel like I’m stepping into a version of what I’ve always dreamed of.”
Prior to their romance, Steinfeld was rumored to be with influencer Cameron Smoller and former One Direction member Niall Horan.
Allen previously dated his college sweetheart, Brittany Williams.
