Zendaya is the queen of method dressing.
After rewriting the rules of press tour fashion with her tennis-themed “Challengers” tour and futuristic “Dune” run, actress and longtime collaborator Law Roach is back.
Zendaya has yet to confirm her marriage to Tom Holland, but wedding bells are ringing on the red carpet as Zendaya and Robert Pattinson promote The Drama, in which they play a couple whose relationship suddenly takes a turn for the worse a week before their wedding.
At the LA premiere on March 17, the Emmy winner revealed she was wearing an outfit that reflected the Victorian rhyme said to bring brides good luck on their big day: something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue (and a sixpence in the shoe).
Below, see how the actress gives age-old wedding advice a step-and-repeat modern twist.

She began her run with “something borrowed” from the likes of Whitney Houston and Carrie Bradshaw. Zendaya attended the Essence Black Women in Hollywood Awards wearing a white minidress with oversized flowers, famously worn by Houston on the cover of Life magazine in 1987. Sarah Jessica Parker later modeled for an abbreviated version of the 2008 film Sex and the City.

She made a surprise appearance at the Las Vegas wedding chapel where the real-life couple got married, wearing a gold corset top and ruffled miniskirt from Louis Vuitton’s Spring 2004 collection.

To present the Oscar with her “The Drama” co-star Pattinson, Zendaya wore a diamond-encrusted Rolex and a brown draped Louis Vuitton gown cut low at the armpit to reveal her “T” tattoo, which is dedicated to the Netherlands.

Leave it to Zendaya to pair your bridal bouquet with “Something Blue.” She appeared on “Live! with Jimmy Kimmel” wearing Moschino’s Fall 2026 look, which featured long ruffled sleeves and a slight midriff. In the interview, she wore a blue floral McQueen dress and spoke about AI-generated images of her wedding to Holland that have been circulating online.

Mr. Z, who has already worn old, new, borrowed and blue for the release of his new movie, dipped into his fashion archive at the LA premiere of “The Drama.”
At the 2015 Oscars, when Giuliana Rancic infamously said Zendaya “smells like patchouli oil or marijuana,” the star “breathed new life” into Vivienne Westwood’s white strapless dress. (The backlash was swift. At the time, she called Rancic’s comments referencing dreadlocks “outrageously offensive.”)
For the afterparty, Zendaya changed into a white lace two-piece look by Harris Reid, inspired by the outfits Prince wore on his Purple Rain tour, but kept her attention-grabbing Chopard jewelry.

For the Paris premiere, Zendaya opted for “something new.” A long sleeve white Louis Vuitton dress with a large cutout at the back and a dramatic black ribbon train.
Once inside, she changed into a reddish lace slip dress and pink faux fur coat by Ermanno Scervino.
She finished her look with layers of David Morris diamonds and ’20s-style eyeliner.

The day after Paris, she went for a more traditional bridal look, choosing a white lace two-piece outfit by Ermanno Scervino.
She paired the corset top with a knee-length skirt, layered a white coat over it, and accessorized with her signature Christian Louboutin So Kate pumps.
