Love Overboard contestant Bela Parc breaks down in tears after learning of the dating competition’s strict rules, in Page Six’s exclusive peek.
Hulu’s upcoming reality show will see Parc and 15 other popular bachelorettes set sail on a luxury yacht in hopes of finding love.
While the four couples live a life of luxury above deck, host Gabby Windy revealed that the remaining contestants have to live and work for them as crew members below deck.
After hearing the news, Park, 22, began to panic.
“If you’re really going to clean it, I swear to God,” she tearfully told the other girls, then started crying. “I can’t even clean my room!”
Parc went on to point out that Barbie doesn’t clean her dream house, squealing that she’s “like a little Barbie with a dream house.”
“Let someone else do it!” she yelled, wiping her eyes with a tissue as the girls tried and failed to calm her down.
After letting out a cry of pain, Parc paused, saying, “You guys don’t even understand that. This worked really well for me.”
In a later confessional, she told the camera, “I was really excited to be on this show, thinking it was just like a yacht trip.”
“I hate cleaning up after other people,” she added, even more excited. “Why would you want to chase people you think are sexier than you?”
Parc reiterated that she “messed up” and insisted she was “not going to do anything too dramatic.”
Contestant Leela Ambrose Fleck was surprised by the display of emotion, saying in her confessional, “I can’t stand it when people cry. I don’t want to be like, ‘There, there.'” I’m not a parent! I’m 21 years old. I’m younger than her. ”
Ambrose Fleck added: “She said she wanted a mommy. Can I get her a mommy?”
As Windy explains to the contestants, Downsiders can reach the top side of the deck by defeating existing couples.
“Love Overboard,” produced in association with Alex Cooper’s Unwell Productions, Jeff Jenkins Productions, 3BMG and Walt Disney Television Alternatives, will premiere on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+ on March 26.
A special preview of the premiere episode will air Sunday, March 22nd at 10pm on ABC.
