Reality TV royalty has descended on Lilly Pulitzer land.
E!’s new film “The Golden Life,” starring some of Bravo’s original “The Real Housewives of New York City,” has officially begun filming in sunny Palm Beach, Fla., sources tell Page Six.
“The entire cast is down,” a source said. “They will be at every event.”
Season is in full swing in the tony enclave, and there are plenty of opportunities for ladies to stir up some drama with charity cocktails, luncheons, galas, shopping events, and more.
A spy said cast member Kelly Bensimon was seen taking pictures in the Ann Norton Sculpture Garden.
Another spy spotted her hanging out with friends at the luxurious Breakers’ elegant HMF bar.
Meanwhile, Luann de Lesseps wasted no time posing for stunning bikini photos on the beach.
Ramona Singer and Sonya Morgan have been regulars in the South all season.
Dorinda Medley is also part of the cast.
Jill Zarin was scheduled to be part of the reboot, but was randomly dropped after going on a racist rant about Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl halftime show.
“I don’t speak Spanish. I wanted to know what he was saying. To me, it seemed like a political statement because there were literally no white people in the whole thing,” she said in a (now deleted) social media post.
“In light of recent public comments made by Jill Zarin, Blink 49 Studios has decided not to proceed with her involvement in ‘The Golden Life,'” the show’s producers said in a statement at the time. We remain committed to delivering a series that aligns with our standards and values. ”
“I took it down right away. People make mistakes. I’m human too,” Zarin told In Touch.
The upcoming series will consist of 10 episodes and is expected to air sometime this year.
