Charli XCX is aiming for a total career “360”.
The “Brat” hitmaker appeared on Quen Blackwell’s YouTube series “Feeding Starving Celebrities” on Feb. 22 and revealed that she “wanted to quit music” to pursue a more acting role.
“Why don’t you try acting more?” Blackwell also asked the pop star, to which Charlie replied, “Yes, are you kidding? I want to quit music and become an actor, baby.”
Blackwell then pointed to the star’s apparent success with his latest album, “Brat,” which won the 2025 Grammy Award for Best Dance/Electronic Album.
“What else do we need to do?” Charlie answered.
As for her dream project, the singer said she would like to make the “ultimate It girl ‘Final Destination'” movie, adding that she created a TikTok about the potential project.
“I saw your name in it,” she told Blackwell about the May 2025 TikTok clip. “We’re all just hot and running around, but we’re getting killed in the craziest ways.”
On TikTok, Charlie also named Rachel Sennott, Alex Consani, Gabrielette, Romy Mars, and himself as possible cast members for the fictional film.
The “365” songstress recently starred as herself in the mockumentary-style film “The Moment,” which was released in January.
The cast also included Kylie Jenner, Kate Berlant, Alexander Skarsgard, Rosanna Arquette, and Jamie Demetriou.
The film follows a fictional artist who struggles with fame and the increasing demands of the music industry while preparing for an arena tour.
In October 2025, Charlie explained that the idea arose after he was pressured by his label to record a documentary about his album Brat and subsequent tour.
“This is by no means a tour documentary or a concert film, but the seed of the idea came from the pressure to make it,” Charlie told Vanity Fair at the time.
“Although this is fiction, it’s the most realistic depiction of the music industry I’ve ever seen,” she continued.
