Britney Spears was seen swerving and speeding before her drunk driving arrest on March 4, 911 audio has revealed.
“A black BMW sedan is weaving in and out of lanes… speeding,” the dispatch audio obtained exclusively by Page Six revealed. “2026 convertible from LA”
“Could you please send all your forces to this area,” the officer said over the phone. Troops responded to the vehicle and could be heard detailing the vehicle’s exact location.
“This is a 2026 black BMW convertible,” the officer repeatedly told the unit, and officers could be heard chasing the vehicle and pulling over.
“I’m talking to the driver,” another officer is heard saying. “The driver got out of the car.”
Page Six also obtained exclusive photos of the car the singer was driving at the tow yard Thursday morning.
As Page Six previously reported, Spears was driving the same car in October 2025 when she was seen swerving dangerously after leaving the Red-O restaurant in Thousand Oaks, California.
Spears was arrested by the California Highway Patrol in Ventura County, California, on March 4 at approximately 9:28 p.m. local time.
She was booked at 3:02 a.m. and released at 6:07 a.m. Thursday, Page Six confirmed. TMZ first reported the news.
She is scheduled to appear in court on May 4.
Spears’ representative, Cade Hudson, said in a statement: “This was a totally unacceptable and unfortunate incident. Britney intends to take the right steps and abide by the law, and we hope this is the first step in the long-awaited changes that are to occur in Britney’s life. We hope she gets the help and support she needs during this difficult time.”
She added, referring to her sons Sean Preston and Jayden James, “Her sons will be spending time with her. Her loved ones will come up with much-needed plans to help her be happy and successful.”
TMZ reported that Spears was taken to the hospital after her arrest.
Spear had blood drawn Thursday morning so authorities could measure her blood alcohol level.
The newspaper reported that the singer told people that “[her BAC]was 0.06.”
The legal limit in California is 0.08 percent, but an individual can be charged with DUI if the vehicle is seen operating erratically.
Spears was uninjured when he was taken into custody Wednesday in Ventura County, California.
