“I’m really excited to be launching this new BritBox podcast with Michelle Collins,” Bowman said. “I’ve long admired her sharp wit and infectious energy, so it’s a real pleasure to work with her. We share a deep love of great television and a healthy obsession with the outrageous bits, and I can’t wait to bring our listeners to the center of the conversation. We’ll be joined by great guests along the way, so we’ll feel like we’re one big great team celebrating the shows we love.”
“As a lifelong Anglophile, working with Britbox and BBC Studio Audio is an absolute dream come true for me. I worked with Scottish legend Edith Bowman (whose voice is both soothing and a joy) on On the Boat. When I got the call to be the co-host of “Sex,” I instantly said yes. We get to dissect, laugh, and keep viewers on the edge of their seats. What could be more fun? ”
“Britbox has always been driven by a deep love of British television and the conversations it inspires,” said McGoey, Britbox’s senior vice president of public affairs and communications and executive producer and senior vice president of On the Box. “The launch of our first original podcast is an exciting evolution for us, creating a dedicated space for conversation to flourish and fan engagement to become a true community. We want to bring the talent closer together. Edith Bowman and Michelle Collins are a great combination of smart, candid, and endlessly engaging, and we’re thrilled to welcome viewers to what we hope will be a significant extension of the BritBox experience.”
