Danielle Bernstein has ended her engagement to Cooper Wiseman and is preparing for her “next chapter.”
The WeWoreWhat founder took to Instagram on Monday to share a video of her “forever” home after renovations and nearing completion.
“After a year of dust, delays, design decisions, and more patience than I expected, the finish line is finally in sight!!” Bernstein began in the caption.
“I have called this place my ‘eternity’ more times than I can count, and life has reminded me that eternity is not something you plan for, it is something you grow from.”
She praised the fact that she built the house herself, “every detail, every risk, every late-night decision,” and teased that she would be able to move into the space “within a few weeks.”
“There’s something really powerful about creating a space to hold your next chapter, even if you don’t quite know what that chapter will be yet. You’re almost home 🏡🤗🚜,” she concluded.
The luxury New York City apartment was apparently intended to be the home she shared with Wiseman before the pair split.
The 33-year-old fashion designer announced their breakup via Instagram Stories last week.
Bernstein wrote on January 30: “I have been silent about my personal life and have not been ready to talk about it until now. We are moving away from a loving and respectful relationship.”
She promised there was “no big dramatic reason” behind the breakup, but explained the breakup by saying the two of them will not be “right forever.”
“While we don’t know what the future holds, this choice took courage. We truly appreciate the privacy and reprieve for both of us during this time,” she concluded, thanking her followers for their “support.”
A few weeks ago, Page Six heard that Wiseman told those close to him that his wedding was “on hold.”
Bernstein’s relationship with Wiseman, a managing director at New Mark in New York City, first surfaced in October 2023, when she hinted that she was dating a mystery man.
The following month, Page Six exclusively revealed his identity as Wiseman.
By June 2025, he was popping the question on a New York City rooftop with a pear-shaped engagement ring.
The former couple held an elaborate engagement party in October, but fans began to notice that Bernstein stopped posting with his girlfriend in the months that followed.
Prior to her relationship with Wiseman, Bernstein had a private relationship with investor Anthony Adler for four years before they broke up in April 2023.
