Nicola Peltz’s father Nelson Peltz has broken his silence about his son-in-law Brooklyn Beckham’s public family feud.
The 83-year-old billionaire investor took part in a Q&A session at the WSJ Invest Live event in West Palm Beach, Florida on Tuesday and was asked about Nicola, to which he jokingly replied, “Has my family been in the press lately? I’m not aware of it at all.”
Nelson said he gave the family advice on how to overcome certain situations.
“My advice is to stay away from the press at all,” he said.
“My daughter and the Beckham family are a completely different story and that’s not what we’re here to report on today,” he continued. “But I will tell you, my daughter is wonderful, my son-in-law Brooklyn is wonderful, and I look forward to a long and happy marriage with them.”
The Beckham family feud exploded last month when Brooklyn shared a scathing attack on her parents – father David, 50, and mother Victoria, 51 – on her Instagram Story.
Brooklyn, 26, revealed she did not want to reconcile with her family and accused her parents of trying to destroy her marriage to Nicola, 31. He also claimed Victoria danced “inappropriately” with Brooklyn at their 2022 wedding.
Since then, Brooklyn’s siblings Romeo, 23, and Cruz, 20, and sister Harper, 14, have banded together to support their parents, recently making a public appearance as a family to support Victoria receiving a prestigious honor from the French government during Paris Fashion Week.
Hours after the Beckham family outing, Nicola shared a romantic video of herself and Brooklyn on TikTok set to Coldplay’s ‘Yellow’.
“I love you @BrooklynBeckham,” she captioned the video.
Nelson made headlines late last month when podcaster Marina Hyde claimed she was receiving $1 million a month from Nicola.
However, a source told Page Six that the claims about Nicola’s $1 million in pocket money are “100% false.”
“The quote in question has no source, because it’s not true. It’s just a made-up rumor made up out of thin air,” a source told Us.
