FBI agents found Savannah Guthrie’s sister Annie in her Arizona home on Tuesday as the search for her missing mother continues.
FBI, sheriff and other law enforcement officials were photographed leaving Annie’s home after a two-hour meeting Tuesday afternoon, with Savannah also believed to be there.
Officials said nothing as they left the premises.
Savannah and Annie’s 84-year-old mother, Nancy Guthrie, has been missing since Sunday.
Annie was the last person to see Nancy after she took her home from dinner on Saturday night.
Police believe Nancy was likely abducted from her home in Tucson.
A spokesperson for the Pima County Sheriff’s Office told Page Six on Monday that investigators believe Nancy was “removed from her home against her will, possibly in the middle of the night.”
Alarming new footage posted by NewsNation on Tuesday showed obvious blood stains outside the door of Nancy’s home, with black blood splatter noticeable on the brown tiles leading to the door.
Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos appeared on CNN Monday night and said his 50 years on the job gave him a “gut feeling” that Nancy had been kidnapped. “What they told me about that scene led me to believe there was more than just a missing person.”
“This is an elderly woman in her mid-80s who is sick…she couldn’t go more than 50 yards,” he noted.
Nanos also told Us Weekly that Nancy’s disappearance was “devastating” for the Today show host, 54, and her siblings Annie and brother Camron.
“They lean on each other,” Nanos said. “They’re very supportive of us and everything we’re doing.”
Savannah’s husband, Michael Feldman, exclusively told Page Six on Tuesday morning that he has “nothing new to report” regarding the search for Nancy.
The 57-year-old public relations communications consultant added that she was “just reacting” but felt “of little use” in a catastrophic situation.
