Donald Trump appeared on Truth Social shortly after the 2026 Grammy Awards telecast, slamming the ceremony as “virtually unwatchable” and calling host Trevor Noah a “total loser” for mocking Trump on live air for his friendship with Jeffrey Epstein. Noah joked that Trump was a guest on Epstein’s island.
“The Grammy Awards suck and are virtually unwatchable! CBS is lucky they don’t have more garbage on the airwaves,” Trump wrote. “Host Trevor Noah, whoever he is, is almost as bad as Jimmy Kimmel at the low-rating Academy Awards. Noah falsely said about me that Donald Trump and Bill Clinton spent time on Epstein’s island. Wrong!! I can’t speak for Bill, but I have never been on Epstein Island or been accused of being there until tonight’s false and defamatory statements.
Trump continued, “Noah, you’re a total loser. You better get your facts straight and get it straight, fast. We’re going to send lawyers and file a huge lawsuit to sue this poor, pathetic, talentless narc host. Ask Little George Slopadopoulos and the others what happened. Ask CBS! Get ready, Noah, I’m going to have a good time with you guys!”
After Billie Eilish won the Grammy for song of the year for “Wildflower,” Noah brought up the topic of Trump and Epstein. Noah said, “Here it is, song of the year! Congratulations, Billie Eilish. That’s amazing. That’s the Grammy every artist wants. Like Trump wants Greenland. That makes sense, because now that Epstein is gone, he needs a new island to play with Bill Clinton.”
President Trump directed most of his criticism at the Grammys toward Noah, but so far he seems to have remained silent about Bad Bunny’s historic win. The singer’s hit album “Debí Tirar Más Fotos” became the first Spanish-language LP to win a Grammy for Album of the Year. Bad Bunny won the top Grammy award just a week before their Super Bowl halftime show, but President Trump has already criticized the show in an interview.
Last October, after Bad Bunny was confirmed to perform at the Super Bowl, President Trump told Newsmax’s “The Greg Kelly Report” that he had “never heard of him.” “I don’t know who he is…I don’t know why they’re doing this. It’s crazy. And I blame the promoters they hired to take away the entertainment. I think it’s just ridiculous.”
