Melania Trump is officially a movie star.
The first lady, who premiered the Amazon documentary ahead of its worldwide release, opted for something classic when it came to her wardrobe.
President Trump, 55, appeared on the red carpet at the newly renamed Trump Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., on Thursday in a black Dolce & Gabbana skirt suit and black Christian Louboutin stilettos.
She accessorized with a mid-waist leather belt and styled her hair in waves.
First Lady Melania smiled as she posed alongside her husband, President Trump, who posed sternly for photographers.
The 79-year-old politician wore a blue suit and dark red tie.
“I’m proud of her. She did a great job. Things like this aren’t easy,” he told reporters.
Following the screening, there will be two dueling after-parties at Official and Donald Trump Jr.’s private members’ clubs, the latter of which will feature a performance by Akon.
First lady Melania hosted a preview at the White House on Saturday night for the first public screening of director Brett Ratner’s film.
The event was reportedly organized by the first lady herself and featured limited-edition popcorn buckets and a black-and-white themed dress code.
Melania suited the occasion in a classic tuxedo that featured a cummerbund and omitted the bow tie.
Mark Beckman, the film’s producer and first lady Melania’s personal senior advisor, told Page Six Hollywood that “no one has ever had this kind of access to a first lady…[In a film]for the first time, she takes people to meetings and places they’ve never seen before. This is unprecedented.”
Regarding the film’s plans for a theatrical release, he said, “Melania Trump wanted this film to be inherently cinematic. It would only be released in theaters…We want that rich, highly stylized movie experience.”
