Garcelle Beauvais hasn’t looked back from her time on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
The 59-year-old actress spoke to PEOPLE with The Hollywood Reporter and Spotify’s Nominees Night ahead of the 2026 Golden Globe Awards. At an event in Los Angeles, she revealed whether she would be interested in reconciling with her former Bravo co-stars, including her former best friend Sutton Stracke.
“I don’t want that, and they don’t want that, so it’s probably about equality,” he said, adding, “The past is the past.”
Beauvais also said she feels “amazing” and “a lot lighter” since leaving the long-running reality series.
“Of course it was a good thing,” she said of leaving the show after five seasons. “I love the life I have now. I love a little bit of privacy and I love doing the projects that I’m doing, so it’s good. It’s nice not having to have a camera in my face all the time, and my kids appreciate that too.”
The Seduced by Love star has 18-year-old twins Jax and Jade with ex-husband Michael Nilon. She is also the mother of 34-year-old son Oliver Sanders with ex-husband Daniel Sanders.

Beauvais announced her departure from RHOBH in March 2025 in a video she shared on her Instagram account. “I have some news to share with you: I have decided to leave Beverly Hills,” she said. “It’s been a wild journey. Some great things have happened and some difficult things have happened. But it’s been a journey nonetheless.”
She went on to share that she was exiting the RHOBH branch in order to spend more time with her children and focus on new work projects. She also said, “Andy Cohen says I can come back anytime, the door is always open. So you never know — I might come back someday.”

Beauvais’ exit comes on the same day that the trailer for the Season 14 reunion of RHOBH was released. The clip showed the Black Girl Missing star storming off the reunion set and taunting her co-stars. She was also filmed backstage saying, “I can’t be friends with people like that. I can’t trust them. They’re all shit.”
A few weeks later, Beauvais unfollowed all of her former co-stars on Instagram.

When season 15 of RHOBH begins on December 4, Stracke, 54, revealed that the last time she met Beauvais was at a reunion.
“She was walking towards me and others,” she said. “I messaged her over and over again. She didn’t message me back.”
After co-star Dorit Kemsley suggested during a group lunch that Beauvais might think of her bond with Strache as “more of an alliance than a friendship,” Strache broke down in tears during a confessional and said, “I love Garcelle.”
“We were best friends,” she said. “I didn’t see her as just an ally. I just don’t like when people talk about her that way.”
During lunch, Ms. Stracke told the women that she would “never know” what had upset Ms. Beauvais.
“She hasn’t told me, she hasn’t told you, and she hasn’t told you. So we don’t know,” she said. “We can play the guessing game forever.”
