Hailey Bieber has reflected on her family life with husband Justin Bieber and their 1-year-old son Jack. The model posted a photo on her Instagram Story of Justin holding the blonde toddler. “Just like daddy,” she captioned the shot.
The couple turned their son’s face away from the camera to protect his privacy. In October, Hailey explained why she and Justin decided to limit the amount of public exposure of their son.
“Until your child understands that and can have a conversation about it, I’m not interested in putting him out there in any way,” she told WSJ Magazine.
She added that Jack has made her more comfortable asserting her boundaries. “I like myself much more now than I did before my son was born,” she said. “You gain this quiet strength and confidence. You can’t say any of the shit you could have told me before. You’re not going to give me shit after I push the human out of my body.”
That same month, Hailey appeared on In Your Dreams with Owen Seale and spoke to the podcaster about how she and Justin are balancing parenting and careers. “I’m someone who’s always wanted to be a mother, so I’m very, very, very devoted to my son,” she said. “I certainly have help, I have full-time help, and I’m not embarrassed at all to say that. And I’m not afraid to talk about it, because without help I wouldn’t be able to build my career and I wouldn’t be able to do my job. And I’m really grateful for that.”
Hayley added that if Jack “isn’t with me, he’s with his dad. He’s always with his family and…he’s always with one of us, or somebody, his godfather or something like that.”
