Kendall Jenner gave one of the most revealing interviews ever on Owen Seale’s podcast In Your Dreams. During the candid conversation, the model opened up about her relationship status and directly addressed long-standing rumors about her sexuality and plastic surgery.
Jenner said she was well aware that “the whole internet thinks I’m a lesbian,” adding, “I want to talk about it.”
“What really bothers me is how mean people are going to be about this,” she said. “It’s not a welcoming arm. It’s like, ‘Hey, if you’re so inclined, yes, join us!’ It’s not kind. It’s very mean. It’s just, ‘What the hell are you doing?’
“We understand that coming out is not easy for anyone,” she continued. “(But) I can speak for myself here, and knowing myself, I think at this point in my life, if I were, I’d be out.”
She knows she has love and support, adding, “I know how I want to live my life, so I think it’s okay to be that way.”
The model also acknowledged the theory that she was hiding her sexuality to protect her career, saying: “I’ve seen some really bad things like it hurt my business.”
Although she doesn’t understand those types of comments, she felt ready to set the record straight. “To be clear, as of today, I am not (gay),” she said. “I don’t think it will happen, but I’m not going to close the door to life experiences.”
Jenner also revealed that she is currently single and not actively dating after having “many” long-term relationships in her 20s. “When I turned 29, I decided that I really wanted to put myself first now. And that’s where I am.”
Elsewhere in the conversation, she denied rumors about the cosmetic surgery she has undergone. “I’ve never had any plastic surgery on my face, nothing,” she said. “I’ve never had a job. I told you, the only thing I’ve ever done is have baby Botox on my forehead. I didn’t like it — and I don’t like it — and sometimes I think, and then I think, My eyebrows are very straight and visibly low, so I actually really enjoy the way they move. So, if anything, I’ve only done PRP (platelet-rich plasma injection, used for wound healing).
She also didn’t shy away from discussing rumors about her nose. “I’ll tell you about the alleged rhinoplasty that I had. I would believe it if it weren’t me. When I look at old photos of myself, I think, ‘Wait, I do look like I’ve had a nose job.'” I swear to God for all the things I love, I have never had a nose job. ”
She added, “As I got older, my nose grew longer. When I was younger, it looked wider and felt bigger on my face.”
Jenner believes other factors may be at play: “I did Accutane for my acne, and there’s this theory on TikTok that Accutane makes your nose smaller. And I swear to God, guys, that’s true.”
More broadly, the model criticized videos speculating about celebrities’ cosmetic surgeries, saying they were “really harmful”, especially to young people.
“You’re going to see videos on Instagram and TikTok of me and the experts, the qualified doctors, and they’re going to break down all the surgeries I’ve had, all the work I’ve done, and everything else,” she said. “Of course, I’ve seen things like that in other people. People I know have never done anything like that.”
These videos “can have a really interesting effect on young people, because they watch it and think, ‘Oh my god, I have to do this to look like that,'” she added. And then, in a hurry, they do something stupid…I mean, we all make stupid decisions in our youth that we probably end up regretting later. ”
