Ashley Tisdale wasn’t on the former celebrity mom group’s fall trip, but she slammed the group as “toxic.”
The Disney alum was not seen in a group photo taken in October at the Hotel El Lobler in Ojai, Calif., according to a snap shared on Instagram by MUU founder Janice Gott.
One photo showed Gott, Mandy Moore and Hilary Duff smiling and relaxing with pals.
It also showed a group of mothers relaxing by the pool wearing green bathrobes.
Additional snaps gave an insight into their holiday itinerary, including family meals and games.
“Moms said BRB!” she captioned the snap.
It’s worth noting that Meghan Trainor is also part of the friend group. However, it seems that she did not participate in that vacation.
A spokesperson for Mr. Gott could not immediately be reached for comment to Page Six.
On Thursday, Tisdale, 40, who shares daughters Jupiter, four, and daughter Emerson, one, with husband Christopher French, labeled the mom group “toxic” in a critical essay for the Cut.
The “High School Musical” star claimed he was excluded from hangouts and didn’t feel “cool enough.”
She recalled “sitting alone” at night “after I put[my daughter]to bed” and said she felt “left out and completely unaware of what was ‘wrong’.”
Tisdale then texted her former friends saying, “This is too high school for me and I don’t want to attend anymore.”
The “Suite Life of Zack and Cody” alum clarified that he “never thought of mothers as bad people (exceptions),” adding that the group’s “dynamic” was “no longer healthy and positive.”
Additionally, she detailed her estrangement from the group in a blog post titled “You’re Allowed to Leave the Mom Group.”
She reflected on “mean acts” such as certain people being talked about behind their backs and text chains that excluded some members of the group.
“After seeing photos on social media three or four times of everyone else participating in a hangout they weren’t invited to, I felt like I wasn’t really part of the group after all,” Tisdale wrote.
The “Phineas and Ferb” alum did not reveal her name, but she said on Instagram that she is no longer friends with Moore and Duff. However, Tisdale is still pursuing Trainor and Gott.
