Simone Biles plays to win, even on the sidelines.
The 28-year-old Olympic gymnast supported her husband Jonathan Owens at the Chicago Bears’ final regular-season game against the Detroit Lions on Sunday, appearing at Soldier Field in a custom outfit that paid homage to safety.
Biles wore bright orange pants emblazoned with Owens’ name and number, and featured the Bears’ signature “GSH” sleeve patch graphic throughout (a nod to the team’s former owner and coach, George Stanley Halas, Sr.).
She paired the bold bottoms with a cropped white fur jacket, white point-toe heeled boots and a small white handbag.
“Sunday’s best 🐻⬇️,” the gymnast captioned a TikTok video of her sideline strut.
The 11-time Olympic medalist has become a fixture at Bears games this season, regularly wearing personalized items featuring Owens’ jersey number and name.
It’s unclear who designed Sunday’s pants, but Biles has worked with several small creators on his game-day wardrobe over the past few seasons.
Threads by Sahara made her a cobalt blue faux fur coat with an “Owens” patch, Kelly Daley designed a patchwork set of cargo pants and a hoodie, and Blank Slate Customs charmed “Owens” with knee-high boots.
She was also an early adopter of fellow NFL WAG Kristin Juszczyk’s custom designs, wearing a green down vest representing Owens’ former team, the Green Bay Packers, in 2023.
“Honestly, I reached out to some creators who were making apparel, but they didn’t have any ideas. I just gave them free rein and said, ‘Please surprise me,'” Biles told Olympic.com about the styling process.
Despite his wife’s stylish support, Owens and the Bears lost 19-16 to the Lions. Chicago still holds the No. 2 seed in the NFC and will host the Green Bay Packers in Saturday’s wild-card playoff game.
Biles and Owens, who met on the dating app Raya in 2020, tied the knot at a courthouse in Texas in April 2023, then tied the knot in Cabo San Lucas the following month.
After Biles’ dominant performance at the Paris Olympics, where she won three gold medals and one silver, the couple went on a belated honeymoon to South Africa in February 2025.
With the playoffs coming up, it is expected that Biles will do his best to stay fit on game day.
