Alix Earle’s father joked about Tom Brady after his daughter sparked romance rumors with the NFL legend.
Thomas “TJ” Earle made the wisecracking comment in a TikTok video uploaded by his wife Ashley Dupre on Sunday that he was considering getting rid of his oversized blue suede blazer.
When she revealed that the blazer was originally TJ’s, he chimed in, saying, “I actually got the jacket because I saw Tom Brady wearing a similar one.”
When Mr. Dupre asked if he was serious, he let out an awkward laugh and added, “I swear to God.”
Their three children, Isabel, 13, Penelope, 11, and Thomas II, 8, could also be heard laughing off-camera.
“Hey, honey? You say all the worst things,” Dupre says playfully, noting that she doesn’t intend to cut any jokes out of the video. “How ironic, isn’t it?”
TJ’s dad joke started after his 25-year-old daughter was spotted flirting with the former New England Patriots quarterback, 48, at a New Year’s Eve party in St. Barts.
“They met at a yacht party and kept talking all night away from the big group,” a spy exclusively told us last week.
Another source told Us Weekly that the two “hit it off right away” and there was “a lot of chemistry between them.”
Their PDA comes shortly after the “Dancing with the Stars” alum confirmed on Dec. 14 that she had split from her boyfriend of two years, Braxton Berrios.
A few days ago, a source told Page Six that their decision was mutual and “due to distance.”
Brady has been single and dating since finalizing his divorce from Gisele Bungden, with whom he shares son Benjamin, 15, and daughter Vivian, 12, in 2022 after 13 years together.
Bunkden married jiu-jitsu instructor Joaquin Valente in December after giving birth to her first child in early 2025.
Brady has a son, Jack, 18, with ex-partner Bridget Moynahan.
