Before Park gained widespread fame on television, she was part of the Broadway community. The first romantic speculation about her dates back to 2018 with actor Zach Adkins, known for his roles in Anastasia and the musical Princess Diana. According to Bustle, fans brought the pair together after they attended events together, including the opening of the Broadway Cher Show in December 2018. A month earlier, Park praised Adkins’ performance of Anastasia in ‘X’, writing, “Oh, there’s two of us. So proud of @zachmadkins. Came to see the last hour of his final @AnastasiaBway matinee.”
However, despite this speculation, neither Park nor Adkins have publicly acknowledged their romantic relationship, meaning their interactions may have simply reflected their friendship within the narrow Broadway circuit.

Park also had a relationship with fellow Broadway actor Benjamin Tyler Cooke from the musical Mean Girls. They worked together early on the show, with Park playing Gretchen Winners and Cook playing Tyler Kimble, according to PopSugar. In 2019, the two appeared close and comfortable at multiple industry events, including a screening of Disney’s Aladdin and the Tony Awards.

According to Bustle, Park added a heart-eye emoji to Cook’s Instagram post, further fueling the speculation. However, the two never explicitly acknowledged whether they were ever dating, and eventually their interactions and public sightings decreased, and rumors of their relationship came to an end.

Park and Paul Forman’s relationship began as a friendship on the set of Emily in Paris and developed quietly before either acknowledged it publicly. In a July 2023 interview with People magazine, Park hinted that she had a “very supportive” boyfriend, but did not reveal his identity. In October of that year, she and Forman appeared together at The Hollywood Reporter’s Beauty Dinner, where they held hands, People reported.
Their romance became public in January 2024 after Park revealed that she suffered a serious medical emergency. In an emotional Instagram post, she shared a photo of Forman kissing her forehead in her hospital bed and helping care for her as she recovered from septic shock. She thanked him for “standing by me unconditionally through all of this,” adding, “I love you Paul. More than I can ever say.”
Forman echoed those sentiments, posting his own memorial message with the caption, “No matter what, I’ll be by your side ❤️.” A few days later, Park shared a post on Instagram of them kissing and wrote, “One year ago today 🥹 @peforman annual January heroism 💪🏼,” hinting that their relationship started a year ago. A few months later, in March 2024, Park celebrated Forman’s birthday with a merry-go-round of intimate moments, including a couple’s massage and a dinner date.
Later that year, Park provided a more detailed explanation of how the two fell in love. He recalled that in his August 2024 Cosmopolitan cover story, co-star Lily Collins resisted the idea of dating another actor, insisting they were “just friends”, despite noticing their chemistry.
“We were hanging out together, very platonic, and then I was invited by the International Medical Mission to go volunteer with Ukrainian refugees in Poland,” she told the magazine. “It was supposed to be a full week in Poland, and I didn’t want to do it alone, so I thought, ‘You know who to come with, Paul, because we’re literally just good friends.'” After the trip, the two continued filming Emily in Paris, and while filming one of their final scenes together, Park recalled Forman telling her, “I’m starting to get really attached to you.”
By August 2024, the pair had gone fully public, sharing multiple kisses on the red carpets of the Emily in Paris Season 4 premiere in Los Angeles and Italy.
